HOW TO USE THIS SITE?

On my site you will find the covers and information of hundreds of Hobbits books in (so far) 59 languages from all over the world. Each language has it’s own album.

From “Hobbits I have” you can, with “Jump to album” (see icon | ->), go straight to the album / language that you want to look at. Then you will see the different covers of the books that I own in that very language. When you click on a cover, you will find all kinds of information about that particular book.

In each album you can (with the icon that looks like a moviescreen) get a 3D-presentation of the covers in that album. If your computer does not have CoolIris, you will have to download that programm first. But that will be completely safe, I downloaded it too.

HOBBITS I WANT

I still don’t have all the covers of all the Hobbits in the world. And … I’m glad too. Because, then the hunt would be over. But, if you can help me to enlarge my collection, please go to contact me.

As you will see, some custom fields have a ?. That means, that I did not know what to fill in there. If you can help me, please go to contact me.

BOOKS FOR SALE

Somewhere in 2010 there will be a bookshop on this site. I have hundreds of double books by and on Tolkien. And, because of my book shelves become too small, I will have to more specialize (The Hobbit and a few other books by and on Tolkien), so: say goodbye to some books in my collection. They will also be For Sale.

Until the start of that bookshop a small collection of books will already be For Sale. Why wait untill 2010? Quite simple, I still have a full-time job. That’s all.

If there are no or only a few books for sale, please, have patience. More will come.

HOW TO BUY A BOOK?

All books are of good quality, unless otherwise. That I will say. Shipping will be all over the world, but only after I have received payment. Shipping is for your own risk, unless you want insured shipment (costs extra). When you want to buy a book, you go to contact me and tell me which book you want. But: sold = sold.

Scans of the books are from the books themselves.

Rest of the world: Paypal only.
