Leiden – The Netherlands: 75 years The Hobbit
In 1937 The Hobbit was printed for the very first time. This year we are celebrating The Hobbit’s 75th birthday.
In Leiden (The Netherlands) where René van Rossenberg runs The Tolkienshop (for more than 25 years) there will be a three days Festival in the Shire.
Thursday, September 2012, 20th – Saturday, September 22nd. See poster for more information.
On Saturday there will be a presentation on translations of The Hobbit (given by me, time will follow).
